Refund Policy

Lake Burton Rentals is a property management company, and all properties are privately owned. Because of this, we cannot refund or relocate guests due to the failure or malfunction of amenities such as televisions, gas log fireplaces, jetted tubs, hot tubs, pool tables, gaming systems, or small appliances.

No refunds will be issued due to force majeure, power outages, loss of water, air conditioning, internet, or cable/satellite service disruptions. Once check-in has occurred, no refunds will be provided for any reason, including early departures due to inclement weather. In the event of a mechanical failure, Lake Burton Rentals will make every reasonable effort to correct reported issues as quickly as possible during regular business hours.

Direct Bookings: Under limited circumstances, and solely at the discretion of Management, a refund may be considered. Any such refund will be case-specific, issued to the credit card on file, and may take up to 14 business days to process.
Third-Party Bookings (Airbnb, Vrbo, etc.): Refunds and cancellation policies are determined by the booking platform. Lake Burton Rentals cannot override, modify, or process refunds for reservations made through third-party platforms. Guests must contact the platform directly regarding refund eligibility. By booking, guests acknowledge and agree to these refund and malfunction policies.
